While the international community and people were expecting the reduction of restrictions and the opening of school gates to girls above the sixth grade in Afghanistan, the Taliban imposed other severe restrictions on women and girls in this country. On Tuesday, the Taliban’s Ministry of Higher Education closed the gates of universities and educational centers to girls and banned girls and women from studying in this country.
